WHY is CORRECTIVE ACTION Important? — (CAR & CAPA)
The output of any good process with deviations, nonconformities, defects is often times requires corrective action, risk mitigation, and preventative measures.
The purpose of this procedure is to provide for a system and instructions, and to assign responsibilities for initiating, implementing, and verifying the effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Actions. This procedure applies to preventing and correcting nonconformities related to materials, components, sub assemblies, finished products, production processes, and the Quality System. It directly concerns Quality Control and affects all other departments and functions in the company.
